What is the Phasmophobia Trait Challenge?

The Phasmophobia Trait Challenge is a fun little challenge that can either make or break your game. If you're tired of hunting the same ghosts the same way over and over, this is something that could add a bit more spice onto your games! (Death maybe included.)

How does this challenge work?

Before every round, each player will have to spin the “Trait Challenge Wheel” to see which trait is applied to them. Every player will have a different trait(s) assigned and follow through with it until the end of the round depending on the trait. If they fail to complete the trait, they keep the trait into the next round along with new trait stacked onto them.

What counts as a completed trait for the round?

To complete your Trait, you and your team must successfully figure out the type of ghost you’re dealing with while achieving two of the three Optional Objectives You must also survive while completing the trait assigned to you to gain those points as well. If you and your team fail to get the ghost right or fail to get two objectives done, everyone fails and must stack on new traits in the next round.

However, there is a bonus. If you and your team manage to complete all three optional objectives along with correctly identifying the ghost, you have a chance to spin the Bonus wheel! (Located on the Bonus Wheel Page). It can either hurt or help your team!

Example:

Destiny is applied the trait of "Deaf." He plays the game without audio and ends up dying to the ghost during a hunt. On the next round, he spins the wheel again and gets "Paranoid." On this next mission, not only does he have to do Deaf, he also has to do Paranoid. If he survives the next mission, everything clears and he's back to one trait the next mission. If he dies again, his previous traits are added on along with a new trait in the next round.
